The Department of Electronics and Communications (ECE), which became a part of this celebrated institution in the year 2002, is one of the leaders in Pudukkottai district.

With fast changing technology, the department has a well designed, constantly reviewed information network to incorporate all advancements in existing and emerging technologies. The state-of-the-art laboratories complement the high standards mentioned by the competitive syllabus and nurture the inclination of the students towards research and development, besides giving them the necessary and sufficient backing of practical knowledge that they need.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has excellent infrastructure in terms of laboratories, classrooms, seminar halls and auditorium. The following laboratories are available

ECE department has initiated organizational activities through department association- ” MECTA”, which has been inaugurated for the same. Mini project exhibition, Quiz competition, Poster presentation, Seminar are organized through association to enable the students to fully involved in their career growth.
